July 7-10

 We went to the Beach on Friday!

 I took the kids to the Arament Museum on Eglin! Lil man LOVED all the Airplanes & my baby doll is a comedian, she enjoys life!~

Family & Beach

This post goes along with the last week. We had family visit  my brother, mom and some of my husbands cousins! It was great to have a houseful of family! We had a great time at Destin Beach & Black water river! Here are some photos from our time together!

my rock garden

The last 2 years I attempted a garden of pretty flowers & such. I think it was ok... a lot of WATERING!!! So this year, we decide to do a rock garden! We completed it tonight for the most part! Rocks all across the front porch, the right side of the walk way & soon in the side spots by the garage along with a palm tree on each side! I put a bunch of gardenia's in my big flower pot to add some color! I will take a picture in the day light to show more detail. But for now, this is a pretty cool night picture of our place

May 20 were getting there

almost finished with the hanging & unpacking and putting things where they belong! I'm having a huge yard sale soon that is for sure! Here are a few pics of what's finished.

May 19 living...

Finally we can live in our living room... no more boxes & I got a new rug (protect the baby & the floor). Whew unpacking whooped my butt, but those weekend beach trips helped out a lot!!

May 12 he gets a new motorcycle....

Still unpacking & hubby goes to pick up the new motorcylce. Hopefully this is going to help us with gas considering the truck is a gas drinkin machine & the drive to work is not around the corner anymore! so here it is! our money saver....

May 11

Lots & lots of unpacking & trying to find somewhere for the kids to play!! Thankfully this thing was not packed way down in the bottom of a box!!

May 10 we move in...

Today was a crazy great day! We arrived at our new home around 8 am and the movers arrived shortly after with our things! It's crazy to see everything you belong packed up on one HUGE truck all in boxes!! wow! & those guys work fast! I should have took a pic of the truck that was in front of our yard from 8 to 5. but i did get a pic of all the boxes in our house! wow! talk about overwhelming!

we got KEYS!

Today we got the keys to our new place in FL! YAY!! we are moving in in the morning! We did a walk through today and lil man was off the chain! so much room to run around and play! and tomorrow it will soon be filled with mounds of boxes everywhere! Here are a few pics...

Destin Beach

Today we took the toll bridge down to Destin. The beaches there are much different than at the hotel room! The water is clear blue, no fish and the sand is white! it's beautiful!! Our friends T& J went with us and we had a lot of fun hanging out! Here are a few pics from today!

Friends!!

Today some of our friends from NC came down to Fl bc they are moving here in a few months! YAY!! It's sooo nice to have people who are actually your friends move to the same area as you, especially when you don't know anyone! We hope they can find a place near us! Can't wait for summer nights and hanging out in our back yard! Today was fun, we spent some time with T&J. They went to the beach with us for a lil bit and then we all went out to eat at a pretty cool place on the beach called "The Boathouse". lil man decided he found his new parents! ha ha. He's such a friendly lil guy! Here are a few pics from our evening!

First time at the beach

Today was our first visit to Florida beach! it was nice and cool and the water was calm! We planned on just a walk but lil man was having too much fun in the water, he had on shorts and a t shirt, but ended up in his under wear! It was our baby girls first time at the beach! She was just relaxing! we plan on doing it right tomorrow!

Looking for a house!

We went looking for a place to live today! Preferrably a house! The first 8 we looked at were really old and run down, and not in the kind of neighborhood hood we wanted to be in! All in the same price range! One of the last houses we finally looked at was perfect! practically brand new and in a seemingly nice neighborhood! Our baby girl was really excited too. The first time all day she was giggling and talking! It was really scary to know that out of all the houses we looked at we only liked 3, one was out of our price, the other not ready to move in, and THIS ONE, we had to decide before 8 am the next day b/c someone else was on the list to look at it if we didn't take it! Wow, talk about pressure! But, I prayed about it and many thoughts ran through my head as the day went by, I slept and even in the morning on the way to take our deposit! A few things stuck out to me though! The fact that it was the only house that our baby girl was excited about! (funny huh, but to me it meant something). Also, it was the ONLY one we really liked. and then the fact that we had to turn around 2 times on the way to take our deposit! Some may have said, that is a sign to not get it, but My savior does NOT cause confusion (getting lost), which means the devil was trying to get us lost, and frustrated with each other so that we would change our mind! So in my mind! We found the RIGHT PLACE! We have to wait until next tue to move it! but that is fine :) Here is a temporary, not so great pic of our soon to be home sweet home!

First night in FL

The first day of May we arrive in FL.... to live! This is a view of the tree's and scene into the alley near our hotel/mini apartment! I think it's a really cool pic! Our room is pretty cool too! Full size fridge, oven, dishes! 3 tv's, 2 rooms with beds, and FREE internet! wow! They take care of their ppl!
