Tuesday

On tuesdays's at the library they have story time, it was fun! we may go back next week! I will try to take pics of story time next week.... but this week, we have my baby girl- getting ready for story time!

my handsome hubby is ready for church! I'm so happy that he has decided to come with us! We have really been enjoying this church! & look forward to gettin more involved!

5 months old!!!

Wow, time sure does fly, especially when your children are growing right before your eyes! your relocating, visiting family and trying to make a house into a home all while life continues to go on!!! I can't believe it! My baby girl is 5 months old today! She can roll over, almost sit up, tries to talk, laughs, does sit up's to get her bottle! I think she is teething too! She is a bit fussy this past week! Always drooling & chewing on everything!! Her appetite is a lil off, but she is healthy 17 pounds and 27 inches! A bit bigger than her brother at this age!

Today was CRAZY! I sold some things via craigslist, we played, cleaned and then I attempted to cook and burnt my arm! Then I attempted to take some "pretend" beach pictures (in our back yard) of my baby doll! But lil man was not having her playing with his shovel aka "trouble" and so he took it from her (why she isn't bubbly) and then he threw dirt all over everything while I was trying to comfort her! Including, in my camera bag :( BIG SAD FACE! Needless to say this was the last and actually the best of only 10 pictures I got to take today. I may attempt this again tomorrow just for the sake of getting a smiley face!

Remembering the best!

This used to belong to my great grandmother who passed away 01.01.11. She was the most beautiful woman inside & out that I ever knew! This is very special to me and today I hung it in my kitchen window & every time I look at it, I feel peaceful because I know she is in a better place & I feel like she is my angel watching over us! I love you grandma ((BUNCHES))!!

Today baby girl has been fussy, she don't feel well! She fell asleep in her swing, finally sleeping good with her toy in hand!

play date

Today we had a play date via meetup.com It was nice to meet some ladies & their children in our new town! Everyone was really nice & lil man played well with the kiddos! We went to a really cool park that has spash pads and swings & 3 or 4 different playgrounds all fenced in! It was fun!

Pig Tails

Today we took our baby girl to her (supposed to be 3 month) 5 month check up! She is about 17 pounds now! I tried to put pigtails in , but they didn't stay & one was on the side and the other in the back! lol. She looks so grown when her hair is pulled up! Mommy's lil chunk!

Life Point

Today we visited Life Point church, it was pretty great, I think we will go back this coming sunday!!

 Lil man is starting to look more like a 3 year old than a 2 year old. Most say he looks 4 b/c he is so tall but its all in the face & personality & here is sooo handsome & grown looking!

Today I finally put my baby's hair in a pony tail holder! she looked soo cute! I may try pig tails tomorrow!! he he

May 20 were getting there

almost finished with the hanging & unpacking and putting things where they belong! I'm having a huge yard sale soon that is for sure! Here are a few pics of what's finished.

May 19 living...

Finally we can live in our living room... no more boxes & I got a new rug (protect the baby & the floor). Whew unpacking whooped my butt, but those weekend beach trips helped out a lot!!

May 15 Lunch...

Today me & my fam had lunch with my best friend & his fam! It was nice to see him & meet his family! We share the same bday and have been friends forever! Just don't see each other much! lil mama was being cute today too, so i got lots of cute pics of her!

May 14, It's my Birthday!!

Well today was great!!! I turned 28 and I got a self portrait for ya! We had a fun filled day, as any day is when I plan it... ha ha. We went to the Common's (Destin mall) to shop, then to the beach to get our FREE tan & hang out, then to eat at Olive Garden with my favorite people! & after that we stopped at wal mart where hubby decided to by me bathroom decor! YAY!  It was nice to spend my special day with my family!!

May 13 new gear

Today hubby's new gear came in, his riding jacket & gloves! Those things are good to have when riding!! Pretty cool lookin jacket!

May 12 he gets a new motorcycle....

Still unpacking & hubby goes to pick up the new motorcylce. Hopefully this is going to help us with gas considering the truck is a gas drinkin machine & the drive to work is not around the corner anymore! so here it is! our money saver....

May 11

Lots & lots of unpacking & trying to find somewhere for the kids to play!! Thankfully this thing was not packed way down in the bottom of a box!!

May 10 we move in...

Today was a crazy great day! We arrived at our new home around 8 am and the movers arrived shortly after with our things! It's crazy to see everything you belong packed up on one HUGE truck all in boxes!! wow! & those guys work fast! I should have took a pic of the truck that was in front of our yard from 8 to 5. but i did get a pic of all the boxes in our house! wow! talk about overwhelming!

Today we got the keys to our new place in FL! YAY!! we are moving in in the morning! We did a walk through today and lil man was off the chain! so much room to run around and play! and tomorrow it will soon be filled with mounds of boxes everywhere! Here are a few pics...

Mother's Day!

Today was mother's day & my dad's birthday! I am so Thankful to have such great parents & children! Being a mother is such an amazing blessing!! Today was crazy fun. First we ended up with lotion everywhere b/c lil man decided to play in it and pour it out! Then we had some relaxing time at the beach! lil man decided to go out in the water a lil more than he usually does! && finally I got to watch my show and eat some yummy ice cream, and to complete my day, my hubby gave me a back massage! AHH relaxation!

Destin Beach

Today we took the toll bridge down to Destin. The beaches there are much different than at the hotel room! The water is clear blue, no fish and the sand is white! it's beautiful!! Our friends T& J went with us and we had a lot of fun hanging out! Here are a few pics from today!

Friends!!

Today some of our friends from NC came down to Fl bc they are moving here in a few months! YAY!! It's sooo nice to have people who are actually your friends move to the same area as you, especially when you don't know anyone! We hope they can find a place near us! Can't wait for summer nights and hanging out in our back yard! Today was fun, we spent some time with T&J. They went to the beach with us for a lil bit and then we all went out to eat at a pretty cool place on the beach called "The Boathouse". lil man decided he found his new parents! ha ha. He's such a friendly lil guy! Here are a few pics from our evening!

Fip fops

May 5, everyone celebrates "cinco de Mayo", well today is actually also the "National Day of Prayer", so I started out my day Thanking God for all the things He has done for me & my family! Through the good & the bad! Wouldn't you know the devil would try to bring us down with a flat tire & a tired battery that don't want us to get anywhere! Thank God we were able to get those things takin care of so we could have a blessed day! 

Yesterday we went to the BX and we had to buy G man some new flip flops b/c he was not leaving without them!! they have super man, spider man & bat man on them & he LOVED them! As soon as he saw them, he said "fip fops!!!". This is his first pair without the back on them, so i was like ok, lets try these out! He has been doing really good & loves wearing them! He woke up this morning trying to find his fip fops! He must have been dreaming about them!  ha ha.

later today we went to the beach and had some fun!! G man threw sand in the water and then pretended to shoot something, Daddy G searched for hermet crabs and me & baby girl hung out in the sun and took pics!

so aside from the electric place being closed, our flat tire & the car not starting! We had a great day!

May 4

Today was a great day! I was pretty tired all day, so when we finally got back to our room me & my baby girl took a nap while Daddy G & lil man went to the beach! It was nice to relax a lil bit!! And lil man was tired after all that playing too! Here he is passed out in the bunk beds!

First time at the beach

Today was our first visit to Florida beach! it was nice and cool and the water was calm! We planned on just a walk but lil man was having too much fun in the water, he had on shorts and a t shirt, but ended up in his under wear! It was our baby girls first time at the beach! She was just relaxing! we plan on doing it right tomorrow!

Looking for a house!

We went looking for a place to live today! Preferrably a house! The first 8 we looked at were really old and run down, and not in the kind of neighborhood hood we wanted to be in! All in the same price range! One of the last houses we finally looked at was perfect! practically brand new and in a seemingly nice neighborhood! Our baby girl was really excited too. The first time all day she was giggling and talking! It was really scary to know that out of all the houses we looked at we only liked 3, one was out of our price, the other not ready to move in, and THIS ONE, we had to decide before 8 am the next day b/c someone else was on the list to look at it if we didn't take it! Wow, talk about pressure! But, I prayed about it and many thoughts ran through my head as the day went by, I slept and even in the morning on the way to take our deposit! A few things stuck out to me though! The fact that it was the only house that our baby girl was excited about! (funny huh, but to me it meant something). Also, it was the ONLY one we really liked. and then the fact that we had to turn around 2 times on the way to take our deposit! Some may have said, that is a sign to not get it, but My savior does NOT cause confusion (getting lost), which means the devil was trying to get us lost, and frustrated with each other so that we would change our mind! So in my mind! We found the RIGHT PLACE! We have to wait until next tue to move it! but that is fine :) Here is a temporary, not so great pic of our soon to be home sweet home!

First night in FL

The first day of May we arrive in FL.... to live! This is a view of the tree's and scene into the alley near our hotel/mini apartment! I think it's a really cool pic! Our room is pretty cool too! Full size fridge, oven, dishes! 3 tv's, 2 rooms with beds, and FREE internet! wow! They take care of their ppl!
