Super hero

So, About the Green lantern cartoon guy! Well, first of all, today I feel like a super hero prob does after a long hard day of work. Took hubby to the Dr. and that was an all day event with both kids. Then I had to stop at the store to pick up some groceries while hubby sat in the car (hurt his back). That was another job itself! Then to the house, finally... where I cleaned house, bathed the kids & put them to bed! Whew I'm tired!

Second of all, My brother won this lil toy for my son at Ryan's while he was down visiting us! Who win's that stuff in those 50c machines! I was impressed! Thank u Jo jo. We love you!

3rd of all, why would he be african american in the cartoon  & caucasion in the movie? hmmm... anyway!

Remembering the best!

This used to belong to my great grandmother who passed away 01.01.11. She was the most beautiful woman inside & out that I ever knew! This is very special to me and today I hung it in my kitchen window & every time I look at it, I feel peaceful because I know she is in a better place & I feel like she is my angel watching over us! I love you grandma ((BUNCHES))!!

Dedication

Today was my baby girl's dedication ceremony at church! Meaning we have given our daughter back to the Lord & promise to bring her up knowing Jesus & teaching her the way to go through life! It was so nice to be able to do this among friends & family!! I am really to Thankful to have such a loving family!! Here are a few photos from today!

Yesterday, (sat) the oldest woman at my husbands church celebrated her 100th birthday!! How amazing is that! And she don't even look it!!! It must be amazing to have lived 100 years and still be able to get out of bed and go to church on sunday! Yes! Today after church I took a picture of the oldest & the youngest (my babygirl) in the church! Life is soo beautiful!!

 Today (monday) I went to visit some family with my granny!! I love seeing everyone and its nice to just hang out and talk! I learned soo much about my great aunt today! she is very creative and talented like a lot of people in my family! She made this quilt, it has everyone's name and birthday on it in the family, and those who have passed have gold trim around them! I was so excited to see my name on it too! lol. This is something to be treasured! And a really unique idea ::) we are full of those in this family!

This old house!

This house is OLD, it has been in the same spot, lookin the same since I can remember! But, it is special to me, and probably only me... WHY??? well because this , i think is the first house I lived in as a family with my mom AND dad. This is where life began. I have heard stories of life, while living in this house, to me this is a wonderful memory! I love to treasure things like This Old house! People always want to have the biggest and the best, but we forget what is most important and that is Love! With Love, small, old things like this house can seem like a mansion!
